What Are They Saying?
The following are some of the unsolicited comments we receive here at Steering Wheel Ministries.
God has blessed me greatly through you. ~ Chuck
Just a short note to let you know how grateful we are to you for your burden for truckers and their families. Our family firmly believes if you had not been in Rice Hill the night he stopped there at the truck stop, and you staying up all night to talk to him, he would have committed suicide. ~ Anna, driver's mother
Thanks for your ears, for praying with me. I haven't forgotten you. Thanks for remembering me. ~ Walt
I would like to thank you for re-routing me. I was a long haul driver based out of Victoria BC Canada. I was doing the I-5 corridor to L.A. once a week. One time when I stopped I picked up one of your New Testaments. I grew up in church but fell out in my teen years. Due to your placement of that Bible I came home and renewed my relationship with Jesus. My family and I now attend a Christian church up here in Victoria. I also now only do short haul day trips home every evening. You should see the Bible now, it's dog eared and has oily fingerprints on the cover. It's tattered, but that only shows how much I read after I first found it. ~ John
This has always been a ministry next to my ex-trucker husband's heart! We stopped at your chapel back in 2002. I was bringing in the mail when the Holy Spirit laid it on my heart to send you the enclosed check. ~ Sarah
Thank you for your wonderful outreach giving your time to do what the Lord asks. Here is some support and hope you can continue to follow God's will telling others, (truck drivers) about Him. ~ Stephen
Please keep on helping the truckers. I don't drive anymore but I think and pray for the ones who do. ~ Beatrice
“My husband is a long-haul truck driver and I would like to thank you for your Ministry and for providing Christmas cookies to the drivers on Christmas Day. Very few people truly realize what a hard life truck driving is. I’m so glad there are folks like you out there for him. He enjoys attending services when he’s in the right place at the right time. I know he made it to a service this past Sunday, though I’m not sure exactly which location that was.” ~ Marilou, a driver’s wife
